About

Well, I did it. I took the advice of a magazine and started my own blog. I read blogs every day. They vary from cooking, to recipes to crafts and parenting. I find some absolutely amusing, and others I have no idea why they insist on blogging. Well, being a writer myself, I have two books under my belt and a third on the way this summer. I'm awfully curious to see what everyone else is doing out there. I'm curious to see their taste in writing and I find it exhilirating, if not satisfying, to read, read, read. Even the blogs that don't interest me much. I do this because we're all different. We come from different backgrounds, or ethnic regions. I like to come across a complete stranger and hear what they'll be doing for the holiday season. I want to see how "so and so's" kids are since summer has begun. I want to read if someone's cancer has returned, so I can pray for her one more time.

I'm a stay at home mom with two young kids. I've been happily married to my husband for 8 years and feel I have no time to blog with the many irons in the fire I currently have. But, I can't help but feel this is the way to go. I feel independent, almost, promiscuous (if I may admit), knowing so many will see the transformation from a housewife/writer/first time blogger to an internationally known, stay at home blogger! Just kidding. What I do see is the creation of something new. I'm finishing the touches on book three and I know i'm going to miss the emotional and creative energy I put into every project. I was wondering what to write about next.... Because I concentrate on true story telling, and I'm gearing up to kick off the book, I can put my emotions and creativity into a blog. Now, I know I won't get paid for this, and I'm sure it may seem as if I'm tooling around with the idea of presenting something new to myself. I guess that's what's making this so exciting! It's a whole new audience who'll be reading and critiqueing my work! A whole new 'office' for me to work in! A whole new beginning that I've been yearning for! Yippee!!

So, my fellow bloggers and creative outlets everywhere, I look forward to bringing you recaps of the days or weeks events, as I prepare myself for the ride. I'll buy my ticket, enter the roller coaster, scream as my hair goes every which way! When the ride ends on each blog entry I give, I'm hoping to get that butterfly feeling I receive every time I finish my honest work with the words, "The End."

Speaking of the last words to a book, I'm an author of three books. two are out now and the third will be out this summer. I consider them my "Housewives Collection" because I totally geared them up to be sneaky, little guilty pleasures of totally true emotional, and could be dark at times, entertainment. I'm an honest writer and spare no subject. You can log onto to my not yet finished website at www.debbieraymondpinet.com and check out my work. You may also go to amazon.com and purchase Tales of a Housewife and Before I Became a Housewife.

Til' then, I'll be fixing boo-boos, making last minute changes to the third book, reminding myself I still need to lose those pesky 30 pounds! I'll watch another episode of Tori and Dean, make lunches for tomorrow and call it a day. Good night everyone!
